Physical Education Building & Indoor Pool
Overview
The Physical Education Building is the University of Southern California’s oldest on-campus athletic building. It is home to the PE Department, USC’s ROTC programs, and hosts a variety of Recreational Sports programming. It includes a 1,000-seat gymnasium, an indoor pool, and locker rooms.
Facility Rentals & Reservation Information
These PED spaces are available exclusively through approved facility rentals and scheduled programming, such as club sport practices.
PED 201 is a padded room for activities such as wrestling, MMA, and more.
The PED Courtyard serves as an outdoor space for small gatherings. The space is commonly used for filming.
The PED Hallways include the first, second, and basement-level hallways. These hallways are available for filming reservations only.
The Men’s Locker Room contains showers and restrooms. Users are able to access the PED pool through the locker rooms. Access to the Men’s Locker Room is included with pool reservations, if needed. This space is used commonly for filming, but please contact the PED administration regarding the usage of lockers.
The PED Multipurpose Room is a mirrored area that can be used for dance, yoga, pilates, and more. The room is open to members and has a capacity of thirty occupants.
PED North Gym is a full-sized multipurpose court that can be used for various activities like basketball, volleyball, badminton, and more. There are six total basketball hoops and bleachers available.
The PED Pool is heated to 83-85°F, has 8 lanes, is 25 yards in length, and is 9 feet deep. The PED Pool is available for rentals and special events only.
PED South Gym is a full-sized multipurpose court that can be used for various activities like basketball, volleyball, badminton, and more. There are six total basketball hoops, but there are no bleachers available.
The PED Women’s Locker Room contains showers and restrooms. Users are able to access the PED Pool through the locker rooms. Access to the Women’s Locker Room is included with pool reservations, if needed. This space is used commonly for filming, but please contact the PED administration regarding the usage of lockers.
