Akhil
Akhil is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a current Engineering Management Master's student at USC. Fitness and healthy living have been ingrained in Akhil’s household, shaping a lifestyle that seamlessly blends physical activity, and healthy eating habits.
As a strong believer in the relationship between a healthy body and a healthy mind, Akhil has not only mastered the science of fitness through certification but has also personally embraced various forms of physical activities. From weight training and spinning to the exhilaration of HIIT, hiking adventures, and rock climbing, Akhil has embodied the essence of an active lifestyle.
He enjoys guiding clients through transformative workouts or inspiring them to overcome challenges. Akhil recognizes the interplay between body and mind, is committed to nurturing both aspects, guiding individuals toward their dream bodies and empowering their best selves.
Fun Fact: Akhil is an avid musician, playing the drums since middle school and is currently the designated drummer for the USC Musician's club.
Andrew
Andrew is a certified personal trainer through the Brookbush Institute and is a first year doctor of physical therapy student! He specializes in powerlifting, muscle hypertrophy, strength and conditioning, corrective exercise, and more. Andrew loves personal training because it gives him the opportunity to teach people a mastery of their bodies they never thought possible. He is grateful for the hands-on rule that he gets to pay in improving people’s fitness journeys, and overall lifestyles!
Fun fact: Andrew is a former USC Powerlifting team captain!
Gabe
Gabe is a certified personal trainer through the National Federation of Personal Trainers (NFPT), and a graduate student studying product development engineering. He has been working as a personal trainer since 2022, but he started his weight training journey in 2018. Since becoming a personal trainer, he has loved the opportunity to help his clients grow and achieve their fitness goals. He specializes in fat loss, hypertrophy, and strength training. When training with Gabe, his training philosophy is to first educate his clients on proper technique before getting started with the planned workout of the day. He believes that anyone can achieve their fitness goals as long as they are consistent and have a clear goal in mind.
Gabe's favorite way to stay active is do a mix of calisthenics, crossfit, and weightlifting workouts.
Fun Facts: Gabe is an Eagle Scout and he loves doing weighted pull-ups and ring dips.
Jace
Jace is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)-certified personal trainer and is a junior studying Cognitive Science at USC. He specializes in strength, functional, and conditioning training. His approach combines scientific understanding with practical training. He is a sports enthusiast, enjoying basketball, long-distance running, volleyball, and swimming to stay active. Jace believes fitness should be consistent, enjoyable, and balanced for mental and physical well-being. He aims to make exercise a rewarding part of your lifestyle.
Fun fact: Jace was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, and has served in the Korean Army for two and a half years!
James
James is a graduate student studying finance at the USC Marshall School of Business from Oakland, California. He has been working as personal trainer since 2022, and has a background in bodybuilding, amongst other exercises.. James’ favorite ways to stay active are weight lifting while enjoying music, and running while listening to a podcast. His training approach is that you get out of this world what you put in.
Fun Fact: James ran track and played basketball in high school!
Katie
Katie is a junior majoring in Human Biology– Applied Physiology. She is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She specializes in weight lifting and HIIT training, especially for clients looking to build muscle and strength. Katie believes that the gym isn’t only for working out, but also a place to find a community of supportive people. Consistency is key, and the key to consistency is a support base that encourages you to workout, even on your off days. When not lifting weights in the gym, she loves to stay active by trail running, skiing, and hiking.
Owen
Owen is an incoming senior studying Environmental Studies and Occupational Science from Santa Cruz, California. With a specialization in strength and hypertrophy training, Owen’s philosophy is that the best results come when you love the process so they like to make the training fun. Owen likes to stay active by weight training and hiking, but is also an animal on the pickleball court.
