With over 70 classes a week, USC Workout offers a fun and diverse environment for all of your fitness needs. USC stays on top of national fitness trends to offer a variety of group fitness classes, including Boxing, F45, Cycling, Yoga Sculpt, Zumba and more.

Barre classes begin with a warm up focusing on postural strength and alignment, followed by a series of upper body exercises using light weights. The ballet barre is used to sculpt the lower body, abs and for flexibility training.
Bollywood Dance Fitness
Bollywood Dance Fitness is a full body workout set to a vibrant blend of Bollywood and Latin music! It incorporates energetic dance cardio and toning exercises with easy-to-follow movements. No dance experience is required!
Bombay Jam incorporates dance cardio and toning routines into one action-packed total body workout with energizing music that is a blend of Bollywood and mainstream Top 40 tracks. The cardio routines incorporate basic, easy to follow dance fitness moves full of Bollywood flair, and the toning segment focuses on sculpting long, lean muscles. In just one class, you can burn up to a whopping 800 calories! No dance experience required.
Booty Boot Camp
Booty Boot Camp will utilize barbells and other weight equipment to work the glutes and legs.
This boxing class will work your whole body and mind. Our boxing trainer will lead you through rounds of different punches and combos. You will receive a high level of cardio, muscle strength, sharp reflexes and a focused mind. Boxing gloves and wraps are required. Please bring your own gloves and wraps, as there is a limited amount for check out at the pro-shop.
F45 is a 45 minute fitness class that consists of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) focused on cardio and weight training. It utilizes “functional fitness” exercises designed to help you develop stability and mobility in 6 main body movements: squat, lunge, hip hinge, upper body pushing, upper body pulling and rotation.F45 will add to your fitness regime by helping you to build strength, improve cardiovascular fitness, increase speed, enhance agility, and gain flexibility. No workout is ever repeated, so you are sure to stay engaged in the class!
Full Body Functional Resistance
This class will incorporate elements of high-intensity training, weightlifting, plyometrics, powerlifting, and functional training.
Hip Hop Cardio
Learn new moves and combinations that go along with chart-topping songs while getting a great workout! Instructors will break for different intensity levels, while strengthening muscles and boosting cardio endurance. No dance experience required.
This mat-based workout is designed to help participants develop leaner, longer-looking muscles, establish core strength and stability, and heighten mind-body awareness. Props may be incorporated to add variety.
This workout combines cardio on the floor or on the aerobics step with strength training exercises using body weight or hand weights. It is a great way to incorporate strength training and cardiovascular training.
Mixxed Fit Dance
This class is a people-inspired dance fitness program that is a blend of explosive dancing and bootcamp toning. We dance to today’s hits and yesterday’s favorites while making exercise fun, easy, and effective.
Pilates Fusion combines basic mat Pilates with body sculpting and basic functional movements for a low impact and a high/low intensity workout adjustable to all fitness levels. The class will help enhance body tone, core strength, and flexibility.
This format is designed to give a full-body, athletic, functional workout. The Queenax Circuit includes high-impact, high-intensity, and challenging suspension training exercises.
This fun class improves cardiovascular endurance and lower body strength as by cycling through a simulated outdoor terrain combining hills, sprints, and other drills. SCycling varies speed, resistance, and body positions for all participant levels.
Sports Performance is all about explosive movements, reaction, speed, and agility. The class utilizes contrast training to increase athleticism and build muscle, through pairing a heavy voluntary contraction with an explosive movement. All classes will start with a warm up and activation complex that works on mobility, stability, tendon/ligament health, and proper muscle firing. This will be followed by a power/strength complex that pairs strength training with plyometrics (PAP theory). The class will finished with a high load high volume resistance exercise superset to help pack on some muscle!
This workout utilizes a system of suspended straps with handles, allowing the user to work against their body weight as they train. This interval-based class will keep the heart rate elevated while transitioning between cardio and strength intervals to exercises on the TRX straps to develop strength, balance, flexibility, endurance, coordination, and core stability. Class is limited to 16 participants.
Challenge the mind and body with yoga poses, breathing, and relaxation. Dynamic, flowing posture sequences will build strength and flexibility.
Yoga Sculpt incorporates hand weights and high-intensity cardio bursts to maximize your calorie burn. The hand weights add a new challenge to traditional yoga classes.
Latin and international music and dance come together for a dynamic and effective fitness class. No dance experience is required- just keep moving! Routines combine fast and slow rhythms that tone, sculpt, and inspire.

Thanks for your interest in Group Exercise at USC! All members are required to reserve a spot on imleagues.com for the following classes:
F45, Cycling, Boxing, Cardio Kickboxing, Intro to Barbells, Full Body Functional Training, Booty Boot Camp, Sports Performance Training, and TRX. All other classes just show up with your USC ID to be swiped in.
- You need to have an active gym membership and USC Workout Group Exercise pass prior to adding classes online. A one-time group ex pass is also available if you would like to try a class before you buy a semester or year-long pass. To purchase membership and/or group ex passes visit: MyRecSports
- Limited capacity classes can be added online 24 hours in advance.
- We offer a preview period for Group Ex & F45 classes at the beginning of each semester for you to tryout.
