Overview
The Group Wellness Discount is a 20% discount for Staff/Faculty that can only be redeemed during the months of January and February of every calendar year. To obtain this discount, you must create a group of a minimum of 10 Staff/Faculty members who are committed to purchasing new* USC Recreational Sports memberships, services, and/or renewals (excludes: Intramural Sports Pass, Club Sports Pass, and Personal Training.) The sponsor of the group must apply for the discount by the application deadline 2/10/2024.
How do you do it?
Start by connecting with other USC Staff/Faculty members within your division/school who are interested in purchasing a USC Recreational Sports membership and/or additional service(s). Once you have a committed group of at least 10 participants, select a “sponsor” to facilitate all communication with USC Recreational Sports. The sponsor will submit the group application and provide the list of participants; these two items must be sent together. In the list, the sponsor must provide at least 10 participants with each participant’s first name, last name, USC ID number, and USC email. Applications must be submitted by 2/10/2024 to be considered for the discount.
What happens if you’re approved?
USC Recreational Sports will contact the sponsor to inform them that their group has been approved and directly email the sponsor a unique, one-time-use promo code for the entire group that they can redeem online for their 20% discount. If a participant would like to pay via discretionary or purchase a locker rental for the first time, they must schedule an appointment with USC Recreational Sports by email.
Group Wellness Discount promo codes must be used by the end of February and cannot be applied retroactively. The group promo code can only be used by approved group members. If the group’s promo code is shared with non-approved group members, this can jeopardize the group's approval/eligibility for the Group Wellness Discount.
What happens if committed participants don’t purchase?
If your group is approved for a discount based on the approximate number of participants in the group but fewer than 10 participants purchase a membership, your group may not be allowed to apply for future discounts.
