USC Recreational Sports hosts After School Sports Connection (ASSC) during the academic year and Trojan Kids Camp (TKC) during the summer.
Trojan Kids Camp
Trojan Kids Camp (TKC) is a sports and academic day camp serving community youth ages 9-15. Program enrollment is set for 225 participants.
Program curriculum teaches sport fundamentals, promotes physical activity and sportsmanship, educates in nutrition and wellness, and encourages play. Activities include, but are not limited to: basketball, flag football, soccer, swimming, self-defense, group exercise classes, track & field, tennis, and volleyball.
This year camp will consist of four (4) 1-week long sessions between Wed, July 5th and Fri, July 28th.
Your camper can be registered to participate for one, two, three or four weeks.
The camp is held Monday - Friday from 8:30am-4pm on the USC campus (UPC).
TKC will not provide supervision before or after camp hours.
Cost per camper:
Enrollment for Week 1 = $165

All registration fees and camper registration packet materials (to be reflected in Camp Doc) are to be completed by Sunday at 10pm before the first day of each camp week.

Do you accept late registrants for each camp week?
Generally speaking, we do accept late registrants into each camp week (additional $25 Late Fee). However, the camper will not be allowed to start their first day of camp until all registration fees and camper registration materials (to be reflected in Camp Doc) are complete. This includes the TKC Physical Form to be completed by a medical provider. Review of materials provided may require subsequent physician release for participation in sporting activity.
**Alternatively, a physical report already completed by camper's medical provider dated after August 1, 2022 may be attached.

Step 1: Click here to complete the 2023 TKC Pre-Registration Form (fields required to activate CampDoc account).
Step 2: Create a MyRecSports account to submit payment (parent/guardian registering the camper must create a website account, the account may not be in the camper's name).
- Select "Sign-In" in the upper right-hand corner
- Select "Sign-Up" at the bottom of the pop-up window
- Create an Account
- Select "Special Events"
- Select "Trojan Kids Camp" product option
Note: You will need to register for each camp week individually (complete checkout payment after each selection). Be sure to select "Continue to Checkout" after payment has processed on PayPal to be redirected back to our website for confirmation and next steps.
Step 3: The TKC Office will enroll you, the parent/guardian, in CampDoc. CampDoc will send you an email prompting you to complete the rest of the application. You should receive this email directly from CampDoc within 24 hours of your pre-registration submission.

Step 4: TKC office staff will contact you upon final review of your CampDoc profile.
How to pay:
Utilize the payment link above to pay registration fees for camp. All other payments consideration will be made by written request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
For security purposes. all communication related to the application will be sent via CampDoc messages to the parent/guardian's email address (must be parent/guardian's email, not the email address of a participant or a minor designee).

Any cancellations made up to, and including, 14 days prior to the start date of the registered camp week will be given a full refund minus a $25 registration/processing fee. Any cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the start date of the registered camp week will be receive a 50% refund minus a $25 registration/processing fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the start date of the registered camp week. All refund requests must be made in writing to email@example.com.
In the event of a sustained injury with a doctor’s note (saying that the camper will not be able to participate in the camp) or a positive camper's COVID test). A refund will be assessed on a prorated schedule minus the $25 registration/processing fee. All refund requests for injury/COVID must be made in writing.
